The world is going too fast!

Dear David,
What about that international gang that made off with over forty million dollars tapping into ATM accounts all over the world in one day. Who is going to pay for that!? What if it was your account? Do you find the world is going too fast for you as I do?
~Bewildered
Dear Bewildered,It is bewildering. I said the other day that the movies and broadway only seem to be interested in big fantasy movies for kids or little plays about your mother while the world is whizzing into a whole new format. Yes, your money might be whizzed away from you so open a savings account separate from your ATM access one and don't keep too much money in there. The bank is responsible - but 40 million? We'll have to see who comes up with that. Be careful and buy real estate in Miami, Brazil or Uruguay (where I live part of the year.) That money will grow in real estate in those areas and nobody can run off with it!

The Beauty of Men Never Dies and My Ideal Guy

I am going to France for two weeks but I will keep the dish going! Do you know about my new novel "The Beauty of Men Never Dies"? It will be out in June from Wisconsin University Press. You can order it on amazon my darlings by clicking here.

-----------

Dear David,What is your ideal guy?
~Love Bug

Dear Love Bug,
I don't really have a type. The quality I prize most in a man is that he looks as if he doesn't have sex with you in the very near future he is going to go crazy. I can get along with a lot of other faults. And he certainly doesn't have to be like me in any way. I have never looked for a compatible roommate with a little sex thrown in. No way. I do not want a conventional heterosexual marriage. I want a great romance. But you have to be an adult to keep it going . All I can say is, if that guy rings your bell go for it - short or tall, fair or dark, younger than you or older. I will add that successful businessmen who are very involved in their work are usually lousy lovers. Just a warning!

Fashion ~ Beyonce, the First Lady, lace dresses & colorful leather jackets

Fashion Day. Today I am going to talk about women's fashion:

1. Beyonce in a great Oscar de la Renta red dress. I know. I know. Oscar does that expected stuff but it always makes women look great. I wouldn't wear high fashion if it didn't make me look better.

2. The little lace dress. I don't care. If I was a girl I would wear one to dress up. You will always look great and it doesn't need to be expensive.

3. The new leather jacket in colors. I don't like leather but these little jackets work.

4. The First Lady in a black sweater top and a long skirt with a train. Simple and great. She has really good taste. I don't think she has someone else picking out color her clothes. They may bring them to her but she does the picking. She has good taste in clothes. She has good taste in husbands. She could be President. I'd vote for her in a minute!

Handsomest Man in the World ~ Bobby Cannavale

Here we go with the Handsomest Man in the World. I have to admit I've never seen him in person but I kind of have a crush on Bobby Cannavale, the actor currently on Broadway. He's no kid but I think he's got what it takes.

Should we all move to the high mountains of Switzerland?

Dear David,I just read in the paper that heat trapping gases in the stratosphere are so depleted that haven't been this low in millions of years. Meaning the earth's heat will rapidly rise and water levels may rise 30 to 50 feet. There goes Florida and the Yucatan Peninsula! It makes me feel pretty silly when I wonder if my mother loved me enough or if the guy I'm dating is really right for me? And should I have my teeth straightened to be more attractive? What's your thinking on this - should we all move to the high mountains of Switzerland?
~Earth-Conscious
Dear Earth-Conscious,I myself ride a bicycle. I don't own a car. No emissions for me. My only emissions are my own. To be serious, people seem to have to go to extremes before they pull back and get their act together. I read the same article and the us is by far the guiltiest country as far as those destroying emissions from cars and factories, but we seem to be slipping into and electronic world where everyone can stay home and work. Also, on the downside, thee seem to be new virulent diseases arriving which could wipe out a lot of the worlds population. It happened in the 14th century, three-fifths of Europe's population was lost to the plague. For you, do the right thing. Drive less. Take a stand. And live as much as you can. Don't put things off my friend. Fall in love right now!

Fashion ~ Colorful Gucci suits modeled by a porn star

Fashion Business ~ Here's a whole section on new Gucci Men's suits in solid colors. A very new look and I think if you've got the nerve you cold make a big splash in one of these looks. The model is Aiden Shaw, one of the great names in the porn movie/porn star business. Now with wild and unruly hair and a beard and mustache. It looks like he still has that great body.

Dear David,
I'm a woman in her late 40s and of mixed sexuality....I don't like to classify myself. Here's my problem....when it comes to attraction to males or females, I'm mostly attracted to gay men. What is up with that? I like the added panache in the way they dress, talk, their passion, openess, and the emotionality they bring to life.
~Miss Sexually Confused

Dear Miss S.F.,
This is the new 21st century thing. We choose a sexual role and then look for someone who is on our wavelength for whom we can care for and worry about the "plumbing" later. If you have male stuff going on and you like gay men, I would suggest that you stress your masculinity. I always say that women and gay men are the only people who grow up because they have a lot more to deal with than heterosexual men in our culture. If you click with a gay guy somewhere...in the office, in class, you name it... I would go for a cup of coffee and see if that initial attraction can go somewhere. Don't give up. I think this kind of arrangement has every chance of working.

Handsomest Man in the World ~ Keylan of Red Model Agency

Hey Folks- It's Handsomest Man in the World Day and you aren't going to argue with me about this one. He's Keylan at Red Model agency in New York. The heat comes right off the page. I found him in
the new issue of Hercules Magazine. Very swell.

Dear David,
It seems like single older men are only looking for "hook ups".  Where can I a meet an older man who wants to actually date? I dated a 65 year old lawyer and really enjoyed doing so about a year ago, things didn't work out.  It seems like the older men are already jaded by long term relationships. I understand not wanting to be burned again by love, but I am really attracted to older guys. Do you think there is any hope to find one that would be interested in long term love?
~Mr. What to do with Older Men

Dear Mr. What to do,
Please keep looking. You sounds like a man many older men would LOVE to meet. I have to think about where to make contact but probably bars and online are not the best venues for a relationship. Most older gay men have not had successful long term relationships and still hope for one. Are there any clubs for men in whatever field you work in? Somehow I think you need to look around in the investments/finance field. Take an investment/porfolio class, play golf - find activities that don't revolve around the bars. Best of luck and please report back!

Help! // advice needed on unrequited love

Dear David,
I am seeking your advice on unrequited love. Six months ago I met someone and totally fell for him. The first month was bliss but then it went cold – less contact and no more fun times in the sack. Up until recently our relationship has been in "friends" mode while I secretly yearned for more. Finally I had a chat with him and he doesn't feel the same way. In fact he now has a long distance boyfriend. I want to remain friends with him as he's smart and fun to be with and he's expanded my comfort zone considerably. He also considers me one of his best friends. Any tips to help me let go and move on?
~One-way lover

Dear One-way lover,
I know, I know, I know. You've got it bad and it's hard to do anything about it. I think you have to at least develop a style of dealing with this lost love as though you can take it or leave it alone. Very often men want the thing that doesn't particularly want them. You can run around with him a bit but control yourself and don't make it seem that you really care. You may find him rebounding. As I've said before, in every relationship there is the lover and the loved one. You are the lover and you have to "manipulate" the situation. Act like you don't care either way. He may well renew his interest.

And on the other hand, you will appear available to other guys who may well move in on you. Having someone pursue you is a good way to get over another guy. And please, don't just sit around hoping he'll be back. It will just ruin your looks. Stay out there in the playing field!

Love/dating advice // I'm a woman in her late 40s...

Dear David,
I'm a woman in her late 40s and I look pretty good at my age. I haven't dated anyone in a long time. I'd like to know around what age do men make a shift to where they are usually capable of having a mature relationship like discussing problems, taking care of responsibilities, etc. At my age, I have a low tolerance for B.S.

I am sometimes attracted to younger men in their 20s, but I'm not looking for fun but a real relationship. I should add that the last time I was involved with someone, it was with a 24 year old who I felt very close to and who was a close friend, but when something finally began, he made some immature mistakes I got upset about, and things quickly ended.
~Miss Should I Skip the 20 Year Olds?

Dear Miss Skip,
I wouldn't skip younger men. Not at all. Just make sure your radar is up for anyone who many be generating some chemistry for you. One of my rules is that when choosing between lovers take the younger. I think there is someone inside of everyone who is looking for another person who completes them. You mention "immature mistakes". That goes with the territory at ANY age. You sound like a fun, adult, caring person. Some guy (probably younger than you) is going to appreciate that a lot. This is the year of good luck. It is waiting for you! Go get it!

Handsomest MEN in the World ~ TWO men today!

Handsomest MEN in the World! Today I give you TWO selections. I found an early photo of Arnold Scwarzenegger lifting a weight underwater. Arnold had it going on and took body building into a whole new sexy category. I remember seeing early PR on Arnold when he was living with a wealthy "mentor" in Spain - an older man. ?????????? I think Arnold has seen it all.

For those who want contemporary hot stuff, how about this young man? A new model on the scene. Not a usual model's face. He's got that something.
